Hi Blues Fans!
I hope everyone had a good week and weekend. I’ll be honest, mine sucked. We had my mothers celebration of life. I was shocked at how many people came out to celebrate with us. There were a lot of tears but so much love and laughter. By Sunday I was so exhausted I could barely move. I’m still in shock that she is gone.
Enough sadness because if I start crying I won’t stop. I’ve had a few people reach out for VIP tickets, so if you can’t make it, please let me know, I have people willing to buy them. I know – we warned them to buy early!
This newsletter is about our sponsors – it’s not glamorous but it’s a necessity. Sponsors make this event possible, along with ticket sales and vendor fees. But this event would not be possible without the support of our incredible sponsors. Twin Arrows Casino has been a long time VIP sponsor and I can’t thank them enough! They provide so much for our VIP area that would cost us a small fortune. So if you’re in VIP – please thank them, or better yet go out to the casino the weekend of blues, a random weekend, anytime and show your support.
Another long time partner is Hensley Beverage Company, formerly Golden Eagle Distributors they have been with us for the last 6 years! These guys go above and beyond each year, provide us the best product, equipment and staff to help make sure we don’t run out of beer! These guys are WAY important!
Nackard/Pepsi has always been a partner of Peak Events. This team is amazing, all the pre-promotions, printing, etc they do to help get the word out and then provide us with soda, water and so much more. This partner might not be noticed as much but they have a BIG impact.
Speaking of big impact, a sponsor you don’t see, Satchmos/Roux 66. Now, if you live in Flagstaff you know Jamie, and you know that man can cook some of the BEST food in this town. We are lucky enough that he loves the blues, he loves it so much he DONATES all the food for the bands. That’s right – our bands get fed so good! He always has a smile on his face, he always puts up our posters, and he helps us pick our bands. Jamie isn’t just a sponsor he is part of the family.
A brand new sponsor – CD & E, Christine knew my mother, and while I think that’s why she is supporting me this year, I’ll take it. It’s generous and kind and so incredibly helpful. Thank you Christine, hopefully you’re impressed and come back in 2020.
I don’t want to forget about the other sponsors too, Flagstaff Subaru, Waste Management – also new this year, Kinney Construction – another new one this year, The Glass Company is also new, Canyon Coolers, Arrowhead water – they make your hydration station work, Cutwater Spirits – also new, Eagle Mountain Construction – a long time event partner, GE Electric – Thanks Dad!, Green Tree Inn – our official band hotel again this year, Groome Transportation, I could go on and on. Click here to see the full list of sponsors.
Thank you to all our incredible sponsors, big and small, on site or just placing an ad – it all helps me put this event on. It helps promote our event. And more importantly I wouldn’t want to do this without all of you. We are one big blues family and I wouldn’t have it any other way. So from the bottom of my heart – THANK YOU! #oursponsorsrock
Today’s music we are listening to all remind me of my mom and were played on Saturday for her.
