Hi Blues Fans!
Can you believe it’s November? It’s been a busy month for us over here. I held my Flagstaff Oktoberfest and that was incredible, we had such a gorgeous fall day and so many people!!! We raised over $24,000 for our local charity. I somehow recovered quickly from that and dove right into Blues! We are 219 days away from the 10th Annual Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival!
I have been putting offers into so many bands, I’ve got some confirmations and still waiting to hear back from others. Unfortunately nothing has been executed, so in my world it’s not 100% confirmed yet. There have been many phone calls to my inner blues circle asking questions about who and when, etc. I feel VERY good about this lineup and think you’ll love it too!
We are also working hard on what we should do to celebrate 10 years! Ideas are still flowing and trying to get them all executed. Do you have any ideas on how we can celebrate our 10 year anniversary? I mean we are only celebrating 10 years because of all of you! We couldn’t and wouldn’t be doing this festival without all of your support.
I’m still waiting to hear back from the local hotels to see if they want to offer any discounts for all of you. Currently I just have Sonesta ES Suites confirmed – as always they are the closest hotel to the venue. Most of this month has been reaching out to potential sponsors, having meetings and phone calls. It’s been a whirlwind! I really need them to financially support this increasingly expensive festival!
