Hello from the Flagstaff Blues Festival

Hello from the Flagstaff Blues Festival

Hi Blues Fans,

How is everyone doing? Seriously how is everyone holding up? It’s a very strange time in our world right now, and I hope everyone is staying home, and are staying safe. I am trying to stay sane myself. My house is very clean, the laundry is done, and the dogs are getting LOTS of walks!

We had really good weather here in Flagstaff on Friday, and I managed to clean up my yard. It felt so good to get out in the sun, and get a workout in. But holy cow, I can’t believe how tired and sore I was afterwards. I am out of shape, and I need to learn that I have time, especially now, that I don’t need to get it all done in one day.

I have been busy refunding our vendors, who are all mostly small businesses. I have also been processing ticket refunds. With that said, if you want a refund you MUST email me. You will not automatically get a refund, you must email me, and ask for one. If you don’t want one, GREAT, WOO HOO, the tickets you bought will be good or 2021!

We have our dates for 2021 – Friday June 11th and Saturday June 12th. I am working on signing our 2020 artists to 2021 – some need to wait to give me an answer until this Fall. We are also going to keep our partnership with the Flagstaff Unified School District Foundation!

Right now, I don’t have tickets on sale for 2021 – I don’t feel it’s the time to have them up for sale, but honestly that will be up to all of you. When you want me to put tickets on sale, I will happily put them up for sale.

I would love to hear from everyone, just to know you are doing okay. I care very much about our Blues Family we have here, so if you have a minute, and I’m sure you do, please let me know how you’re doing, and better yet – tell me what Blues Music you’re listening to!! I keep a list of potential artists for future festivals, so send me who you’re loving right now!

Because I don’t have much to update these days, I’m going to keep this short, and I’ll write again in May.

Jen
