Hi Blues Fans!
Well depending if you’re in Arizona and what part you might be getting just a little bit of rain. Here in Flagstaff we have gotten a lot of rain, which is a really good thing. It would be a little nicer if it would come slower but we’ll take it. I say slower, because of the flooding we’ve been seeing. We need the rain, and the Driving Range, looks amazing! Well, mostly a lake right now, and not usable but it’s so green and lush!
So besides the weather, I’ve been working but not on Blues if I’m being honest. I have 3 events in August and then the Flagstaff Oktoberfest is coming up fast. It is my goal that in August I get my Blues to do list done! My goodness, I can’t believe it’s August! I need to pick out and then sign our 2022 bands – yes I am procrastinating. Our 2019 lineup was technically put together by my mother, so I feel a lot of pressure with this 2022 lineup. I have to start asking sponsors for money. And if it ever dries up I need to spend some serious time at the Driving Range coming up with a plan for the layout and parking.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the lineup and when I’ll release it. I was thinking I would do the same as we’ve done in the past – release it February 1st unless of course you’re reading this and then you get it 24 hours before everyone else. But our tickets go on sale then too, so it just seems like a good time. What do you think?
I’m going to keep this one short and sweet because as you can see, I have a lot of work to do!
