Thank you for an incredible 7th Annual Flagstaff Blues Festival

WOW!!!!!  What an amazing show!  What an amazing festival!  Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the 7th Annual Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival!!!!  Both days were incredible! OMG – what a great show!!!!!    I think every one of our acts did a great job and left it all on the stage. I don’t know how I am going to top this year’s lineup!

There are so many people to thank for the success of the festival!  Our team!  Our team consists of interns, friends and family.  Our NAU interns are amazing and we love working with them!  They keep us young!  This is how amazing our interns are – we had 4 of our interns that just graduated come back.  They all knew I wouldn’t be able to work the event without them and they all jumped in. festival is literally owned and produced by women!   All of our interns are women, and I am so proud of them all! I also want to thank Randy (an interns boyfriend) who stepped up to help, Gerard  (an interns husband) who maned the hydration station for 2 days and of course the men in my life, My dad Pat, My dad Terry and my incredible boyfriend Jason for all of their help. I abuse them every year and I couldn’t do it without all their hard work year after year. I love you all so much. Our friends. Dang, between helping with hotel deals, running our greenroom and finance tent, where would we be without our friends!   Our friends even volunteer to help us!   A huge shout out to my aunt and uncle who also came from Portland, OR and worked so hard for 3 days, THANK YOU! You are now officially part of the team, and you have to come back year after year. To Cheryl, an incredible woman who loves this festival as much as I do, thank you for always coming back to be a part of this team. We are so blessed with all the wonderful people who surround us in our mountain town!

I want to thank the Continental Country Club... without them this event would not be possible because we would have NO location! So thank you to the staff who preps the driving range, helps with so much year after year. Tahlia thank you for all you do and your continued support of our event! We love our home at the Continental Country Club Driving Range!

A thank you to our vendors, volunteers and YOU!  This was the hardest Blues and Brews I could have had.  Believe me, I was close to tears many times with your well wishes and comments.

We had some missteps for sure! More porta johns – like 3 times as many! Even getting them serviced Saturday morning wasn’t enough. CHECK! And plenty of TP! I’m going to look into a water truck to help keep the dirt down, hopefully Eagle Mountain Construction can help me with that, hint hint. More merchandise! WOW! For years I keep taking to and from and storing it for the 364 days between festival and this year, I have ONE small box. So 2020 I’ll do an order for Friday people and then restock with a fresh order Saturday! I had no idea you wanted to much merchandise. Speaking of, what other merchandise would you like to see? Blankets? Socks? Chairs? Tell me, please!

The feedback that we receive from our attendees is priceless.  We know we don’t know everything, and each year is another learning experience, and with all your feedback and help, this festival improves every year.
