Thank you for an incredible 8th Annual Flagstaff Blues Festival

Thank you for an incredible 8th Annual Flagstaff Blues Festival

Hello Blues Fans!

WOW!!!!!  What an amazing festival!  After two years of no festival, I think we put on a great event! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the 8th Annual Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival!!!!  Both days were incredible! OMG – what a great show!!!!!    I think every one of our acts did a great job and left it all on the stage.

Our sponsors – WOW – what amazing businesses!!!   Twin Arrows Casino, Hensley, Satchmo’s, Aetna, Russ Lyon Realty, Stackhouse Wealth Strategies, Findlay Toyota, Suddenlink, Nackard Pepsi, Desert Financial, CD&E Engineering, Arizona Lottery, Flagstaff Airport, and many more have made this possible, thank you again!

I think I ordered enough Porta Johns… what do you think? And it seems I ordered enough Merchandise, although I’d like to hear from you what you’d like me to add in the future.

I need to thank all the vendors for their time, energy and equipment! The Volunteers were outstanding this year!!! I also need to thank my staff, holy cow you all killed it. I couldn’t do it without all their hard work year after year. I love you all so much.

I also loved all of you that came up to me congratulating me on the festival and/or giving me hugs. It was a pleasure to speak with all of you!

I’ve been getting some feedback, which has all been positive! I would think you know by now, give it to me straight! I can’t improve things if I don’t know about them. As always, honesty is the best policy. So tell me what I need to improve upon, or what you’d like to stay the same.

I’m also curious about those who didn’t come this year, why not? I need more people to attend the event, so I’m wondering why people didn’t attend.

For those of you who did attend, how did you hear about the event? Marketing is a big piece of the puzzle and I’d like to not spend money in areas that aren’t working.

Speaking of honesty… I’m going to be honest with all of you. The cost of this event from 2019 to 2022 increased by 60%. Yeah, that was a gut check for sure. So with that said, I’m going to have to increase ticket prices in 2023, if I don’t then I can’t keep doing this festival. What do you think of that?

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

And remember… Save the date – book your hotel now… June 9 and 10, 2023
