Hi Blues Fans and Happy New Year!
2023 is here and I for one am happy about it! Hopefully everyone had a very nice holiday with your friends and family. It was pretty low key for me, which I’ll take! And if you were caught in the storms and travel nightmare, I am so sorry. It makes me so grateful that I live close to my family.
Up here in Flagstaff we’ve had a few days of cloudy weather, and as I’m writing this it’s definitely trying to snow! We need all the moisture this year so that the driving range will be lush and green again!
December wasn’t as busy as I had hoped for the festival, but it’s just a hard time to lock people down because of the holiday. I swear everyone, including me, takes the whole month off. In fact I had writing this newsletter on my list for weeks, and I’m waiting until the last possible minute to get it done!
I have all of the bands confirmed, I’m just waiting on a couple of more contracts to come through. But I’m working on finalizing the ticketing page, and the advertising for the lineup to be announced. Speaking of both, Tickets and the lineup will be announced February 1st
So, keep an eye out for a special email announcing that, along with tickets going on sale. We’ll do one month of early bird pricing, and then rates will go up on March 1st.
The event really does seem to be coming together nicely! I just need to get some marketing things finalized, as well sell some dang sponsorships!

Other than that, I hope you all have a FABULOUS January! I’ve got a very busy month ahead of me, along with planning the festivals, and prepping for tickets to go on sale, I am also planning an outdoor Hockey event up here in Flagstaff! And was just approached about an event in February! Whew! Don’t get me wrong, I am so grateful for the work!
