Hi Blues Fans!
I hope you all are doing well, and enjoying the change in weather! It finally feels like winter is behind us, and it’s the season of allergies now. The driving range is looking so good, and I was just out there with the team looking at everything. We are certainly getting excited.
I know parking has been a big question, so we are sold out, however we do have the FREE shuttle from NAU Campus. We also have a designated Uber/Lyft pick up spot right out front. We also will have an area for Bike to be locked up on site if you’d prefer to ride your bike!
Now onto some of Friday’s talent! Carl “Buffalo” Nichols was born in Houston and raised in Milwaukee. He’s been playing the guitar since he was a kid and has always had a fascination with music. He has played on the Lake Show with Stephen Colbert, did an exclusive tiny desk concert for NPR and has been featured in Rolling Stone. I quickly fell in love with Buffalo Nichols and I know you will to!

Did you know Albert Cummings learned how to play the banjo at the age of 12, then he moved onto the guitar. In 1999 he competed in the International Blues Challenge and released an independently produced album with his band at the time, “Swamp Yankee.” Albert has released a total of 9 albums. He won the 2019 Blues Music Award for Blues Rock Album. He’s played with Stevie Ray Vaughn and BB King. I’m telling you Albert can play the guitar! He was highly requested by… you the fans! So don’t miss him Friday night!
