Hi Blues Fans!
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
I am, just ok. The closer we get to what would have been our festival date, the harder it becomes. I miss planning and executing this festival. I have an insane amount of free time right now, and I’m trying to enjoy it, but it’s hard. I love going 100 mph. So this has been a major adjustment for me.
Next week I’m going to start painting the inside of our house. My BF built me a fabulous raised garden bed, so I’ve been planting and tending to that. I’m starting to work out, after gaining the Covid -19, which I sure did, I’m back on the weight loss wagon. Let’s just say in isolation it’s not fun being on a diet too!
What is new with everyone? What have you been doing to stay sane during this time?
The festival… I should be planning for 2021 but I just don’t know what that looks like. I haven’t had much communication with the City or Country Health Department on what events will look like in the future, so I’m sorta holding off until I see larger events come back and see what they do.
With that said, I have some questions/feedback I need from you!
1. What will make you feel safe coming back to Blues? Or, are you not worried?
2. What things are a MUST implement at the 2021 festival?
3. What things would you like to see but aren’t a must in order to attend 2021?
4. What would you like to see at the festival? If budget wasn’t an issue, and you could have or see anything at our festival, what would it be?
I hope you all know how much I value your input, and with COVID, it’s no different. You are the ones who attend faithfully every year, and so I want to hear from you! How can I produce the 2021 Blues Festival, but make sure we are all safe while doing so.
I hope you have a FABULOUS June, I will miss seeing all of you this year.
