Hi Blues fans!
How is everyone doing? I am hanging in there… it is still super strange not to be planning Blues and Brews this year. Usually I would be working nights and weekends to get caught up and going in a million directions. And now I am just here… sitting… waiting for things to get back to normal. It’s very odd to me that Blues just isn’t happening. I have been crying more and more about it. Not just for myself, because this is my business and my livelihood, but also for my interns, the bands, my vendors, my volunteers, the charity and You! Thousands upon thousands of people were affected just by me cancelling my festival.
Speaking of cancelling, I am no longer processing refunds. Anyone who has tickets, they will be valid for 2021!
So, now that May is upon us, and the weather is amazing. I have to brag… we were cold for so long and then BOOM, 73! And all week it’s been 75 or more and no wind. It is just heaven!
What has everyone been up to? Are you cleaning things out, like most everyone else? Are you doing projects around the house?
I do have some big personal news; I bought my first home! I have been renting this townhouse for 9 years, and I have always been in love with it. It is just the perfect size, location, etc. And after years and years of trying to buy it, it finally happened! I am officially a homeowner, and I have to say I didn’t think it would happen for me here in Flagstaff, but I did it! So, Jason and I are making lists of what we want o change, projects we want to do, it’s just super exciting!
