Hello Blues Fans and Happy New Year!
2020 is here, I for one can’t believe it’s 2020. We will be celebrating the 8th Annual Flagstaff Blues Festival in just 164 days! Holy cow! We are also just 30 days away from the 2020 lineup being released and tickets going on sale!
Friday June 12th and Saturday June 13th are the 2020 dates!
Here are a few things you need to know.
1. Get your tickets early! We do early bird pricing (GA tickets only) for one month only. That will be the BEST deal you’ll get on tickets.

We SOLD OUT of VIP Tickets 2 months before the event!
You can ONLY buy them online… yes that sucks but it makes my life so much easier! With all the different types of tickets we have, and the sales tax I have to pay, online is the easiest for me and my team (day of). So please be kind to us.
2. The bands! Holy Cow… I am so excited, I can’t believe I got everyone I wanted on my wish list!
Friday we will have 4 bands performing! I love all of them but I really think the last two (headliners) will blow you away! You’ve been requesting both of them!
Saturday we will have 6 bands performing! Again, a lot of requests for these bands so I hope you love the lineup as much as I do!
3. Parking is becoming more and more of an issue. The more we grow, the less parking I have available. So for 2020, one free Parking Pass will be included in VIP tickets. Now, if you’re traveling with a group, or there are two of you, then you only need one parking pass – please do NOT be greedy! I am still working out logistics of this in my head. I might email all of you VIP ticket holders to see how many parking passes you need and EMAIL you the ticket/pass. As I’m writing this newsletter, that sounds like the best idea.
Jason (boyfriend) and I measured the driving range and the available parking before Christmas. The snow had finally melted and it was a warm 43 degrees outside. LOL.
We will sell – online only – Friday parking pass and Saturday parking pass. Again – if you can shove 3 friends in your car then you only need ONE pass! These will NOT be available at the gate.
I am working with the Flagstaff Mall and some nearby Churches to use their parking lots for a FREE Shuttle! Yes, if you park further away and ride the FREE Shuttle that will be going non-stop all day and past the festival closing time you’ll save $$$! Plus the shuttle ride will be all of 15 minutes – TOPS!
4. Book your hotel room now! Seriously, you can cancel but why not get the best rate at the hotels closest to our venue. Here they are again.
Sonesta ES Suites – you could WALK to and from the festival from this location.
$169 for a Studio and $229 for a 2 bedroom – tax not included. They have breakfast in the morning – FREE.

Fairfield by Marriott – it’s a little further away but you technically could walk to the festival from here.
They are doing 12% off – I’m not 100% on what that rate is but call now and book. That is off 2 queen, 1 king or their Suites. They have breakfast in the morning – FREE.

Hampton Inn and Suites – This is next door to the Fairfield and owned by the same people.
They are doing 12% off – I’m not 100% on what that rate is but call now and book. That is off 2 queen, 1 king or their Suites. They have breakfast in the morning – FREE.

Holiday Inn Express – Still on the east side of town but you’d need to drive or take a LYFT
They are doing 12% off – I’m not 100% on what that rate is but call now and book. That is off 2 queen, or 1 king. They have breakfast in the morning – FREE.

Green Tree Inn & Suites – This is on the west side of town, but you can hop on the freeway and be to the event in 20 min!
They have been a long time partner and we tend to put our artists up at this hotel, so while you’re having a FREE breakfast you just might run into them!
They are offering rooms for $129 a night plus taxes and fees.

Please note that we only have a limited supply of rooms under our group at each hotel, so don’t wait or the rates could be gone before you know it! I am still trying to get other hotels to partner with us, but since you all have made this such a successful event they know you’ll book so they don’t want to offer a discount. I would suggest that you mention to these hotels how much you love them and this event and encourage them to continue to partner with us in the future!
