Hey Blues Fans!
Sorry this is late… it’s been really busy around here! Can you believe this Friday we announce our lineup? OMG I am so excited! Both days are filled with incredible acts! We have 4 blues bands on Friday and 6 bands for Saturday. It’s going to knock your socks off! As always I have to note that artists are subject to change, some things are just out of my control. Anyone remember 2016 and the Taj Mahal Trio cancelling on us? I do.
Festival tickets also go on sale on Friday, so I figured we would talk about tickets. First… we will allow re-entry. My god you guys are passionate about that. I don’t think we’ve ever received so much feedback as we did about that one thing. I will tell you that we will have security patrolling the parking lots this year. This is the compromise. We have food vendors who pay to come and sell their food and they need to make money. We sell beer and wine to make money, but we are also raising money for charity (keeping music in our schools). So please come prepared to support everyone at the festival.
Now, tickets because we’ve been getting questions about those too. We will have General Admission tickets… a Friday only ticket, a Saturday only ticket and a 2 day ticket. Now… we will have our early bird pricing from Feb 1st to March 1st and then prices go up. With the 2 day ticket you will get a wristband to wear the ENTIRE weekend, if you lose your wristband or cut it off you will not get another. So keep it on like big kids.
Blues and Brews VIP tickets are 2 day only. Once again you’ll get free food, better seating, more shade, private bar and private bathrooms. You’ll also get access to the event 30 minutes before everyone else (new this year). I am working on free chair massage too, as well as some VIP goodie bags but no promises. Once again you’ll get a wristband you’ll need to keep on you for 2 days, if you lose it or cut it off you will not get another one. Remember VIP sold out last year, so don’t wait – we again have a limited amount of tickets available.
As always kids 12 and under are FREE! Yes, even to VIP.
And final note… you’ll get an email the official lineup announcement at 8 am on Friday. I am working on festival ticket sales being available to only you then too! The general public will know everything at 10 am.
